“I often get asked how I paint, what is my process, and how long does it take to come to a point of resolution within my work. It begins with travelling to the place of inspiration, recording my thoughts and memories with watercolours and sketches. When back in the studio my process begins with intuitive mark making, glazing and a layering of paint. This can take me months to achieve the final outcome.”
